About Laurelwood Sabbath School

Our Mission

The Sabbath School ministry mission is to emphasize the importance and the spiritual benefit of the sabbath school lessons created by the Seventh-day Adventist Church for its channel of biblical learning. Like many churches that emerged from the Protestant Reformation, the Seventh-day Adventist Church draws people’s attention to the Bible. But it stands out by the weekly training of its members in the study of biblical texts using different methods.

How We Serve

Each quarter, a biblical subject (theme, belief, or book from both the Old and New Testaments) is studied using a biblical guide. These guides are made not only for adults but every age group so that no one is left out in the spiritual growth that goes with studying these biblical guides. We encourage and motivate all church members to participate in the sabbath school program while interacting with our teachers and fellow members in their classes.
